Anyone got any dos or donts re Eurodisney? Is one day enough? Im bringing my six year old in a couple of weeks and the site seems very vague. Was just wondering from those who have visited what are the must sees and the swerves and the best way to get optimum value from the day..

Buy your tickets on their French website in Euros rather than the UK one and it's a fuck load cheaper. You can only selec France as your country after you out your UK address is but it doesn't make any difference nobody picks you up on it.

gonna be tough in a day - assume you are not staying in a hotel (if so do the luggage express thing if its a Disney hotel)
Best advice I would give:
pick the rides you wan to do in advance. Major rides for a 6 year old will probably be something like
- Buzz Lightyear -
- Small World
- Runaway train (forget what its called)
- Peter Pan
- Pirates of carribean
- Crushems coaster (studios)
- rattatouile (studios)
...get there as early as possible and if you can get a fast-pass for anything, do that(you then return to the ride at the allotted time and pretty much get straight on) - from memory, school holidays times (easter) we queued on average something like 45 mins.
Food in the park is OK if you don't mind grabbing some burgers, or chicken in a basket.
Remember there is the Disney studios, not just the magic kingdom....
absolute waste of time queuing up to meet the Disney characters. Took an hour to meet two squirrel...

only done the florida one but assuming the rides are similar don't do Small World.
You'll never get the song out of your brain.
Oh and Heath - aren't they chipmunks?

We watched the parade where it started by small world, it tends to be quieter here than the main strip.
The other advantage to this is that once the characters have gone past you can then go and get on another ride, we did this for Buzz Lightyear and walked straight on

If you go in costume they sometimes let you skip the queues.

Obviously try to do more than one day - especially as at 11pm they have the big show / screening / fireworks on the castle.
Avoid some of the rides that have limited space (e.g. Dumbo / Orbitron). Star Tours is good if your lad is into Star Wars and the queue has a few attractions while you wait, unlike some others. The Wild West Show is quite good as well, but is outside of the main park.
Don't do the meet 'n' greet - a real waste of time.
And have a beer stein in King Ludwig's Castle at the end of the day - you'll need it.

There is no easy way to do these things so just tough it out, and try and find out which has the least queues, at the time we went it was Pirates of the Carribean you could walk straight back on with no queues but Peter Pan sometimes even with fast track was a nightmare.
Don't do the 'meet the characters' breakfast or meals if you are staying in one of the Disney hotels.... waste of fucking time and funds.
They offer a get in an hour early too if you stay in their hotels which only has the popular rides open and then guess what?......there's long queues for them!!!!
When you want a break do the things like the Alice in Wonderland maze thing as you can stroll a bit and pretend to be be lost whilst getting sprayed with water.
Other than that it's fucking imense and i'm glad the kids are past that stage. :-)

Went in February.
Did a 2 night 3 day thing.
Stayed in Davy Crockett (which is a mobile home with wood cladding to make it look like a log cabin)
Drove over there (3 hours from Calais 1 Road 1 Toll)
They had a deal on for half board which was worth it you got breakfast rolls and Cereals Eat Cereals (put cheese in rolls for snacking on during the day) Used Vouchers for food of an evening.
Car Park is 20 euro a day (unless you get a deal) if driving take a picture of Bay your car is in
If you are trying do both parks in a day you will need to choose what you Q for either picture with Micky and Friends or Rides (you won't have time to do both)

You really do need more than one day, buy the tickets in france if you can much cheaper, dress the kids up in disney characters and they let them go in first (not sure if its all rides though). Lots of places to eat but its all a bit meh.

No one loves Disney theme parks more than me.... But I can take it leave eurodis.... Disney should be in the US end of... Just does not work in the land of frogs for me...

Done Florida 14 or 15 times.. California 4 times...Paris twice....its not just about the rides...there is a MASSIVE difference
